PRECAST CONCRETE
THE FUTURE OF CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
How is it made?
Precast concrete is a construction product produced by casting concrete in a “mold” or “form” which is then cured in the factory in a controlled environment, transported to the construction site and lifted into place with the help of heavy load bearing cranes. By producing precast concrete in a controlled environment, it has the chance to properly cure and it is closely monitored by factory employees.
What are the most significant advantages of precast?
The most outstanding benefit of precast is the exceptionally high quality. The precast concrete elements are manufactured in a strictly controlled environment as per the highest quality standards, and the whole curing period is monitored.
Apart from the impressive quality, another considerable benefit is the fast construction time. Compared to in situ casting, the structure of a full precast concrete building can be erected about 80% faster.
Not to mention being highly cost effective, resulting from the less number of workers, the less labor hours spent on the site and the overall shorter time of the construction.
Last but not least, these buildings have a life span of at around 100 years. The durability of precast comes from its natural and physical features: as the time passes by, precast concrete increases its strength.

THE BENEFITS OF PRECAST CONCRETE

High Quality
Our precast concrete elements are manufactured in a controlled environment under strict quality control, providing the highest quality to our customers.

Fast Construction
Precast concrete buildings can be finished approx. 80% faster than the traditional (tabook) way (with foundation, walls, floors and stairs).

Cost Effective
Due to the reduced number of labors and the less labor hours spent on the construction site, a significant amount of savings can be achieved.

Built-in wires/pipes
The precast concrete elements come with built-in electrical wires and outlets, which significantly reduces the cost of electric works.

Fire Resistant
As concrete itself is already a fireproof material, precast concrete buildings provide excellent fire protection and prevent the spread of the fire.

Wind Resistant
Precast concrete buildings can resist strong continuous winds, storms and can even effectively withstand hurricane-force winds or cyclones.

Heat Resistant
Precast concrete is suitable for areas with high humidity and extreme temperatures due to its excellent thermal resistant features.

Waterproof
Precast concrete buildings are resistant to rain, water damage, mold, and decaying, which significantly reduces maintenance costs.

Eco-friendly
Minimizing waste on the construction site and in the factory makes precast concrete the best environmentally friendly choice.

Safe Construction
The precast concrete provides a safe environment for the workers as the elements are stored in the factory until the site is ready for installation.

Customizable
The design flexibility of precast concrete gives unlimited design possibilities, regarding styles, colors, materials, finishings and shapes.

Durability
Precast concrete increases in strength over time. According to studies, it has a life span of more than 100 years, which reduces maintenance costs.
PRECAST CONCRETE PRODUCTS
Hollowcore Slabs
Hollowcore slabs are prestressed concrete elements of different lengths and thicknesses. By making cores in the slabs, 40-50% of extra weight can be removed, which otherwise, would only add to the weight of the slabs. The reduced slab weight results not only in a lighter structural frame but in significant overall savings in the construction costs. Hollowcore slabs are widely used in villas, industrial buildings, offices, car parks, etc., for flooring, roofing, and occasionally for walls.

Beams and Columns
RB, IB, ITB, LB and FB beams are usually used as floor and roof beams supporting hollowcore slabs. Using these elements results in significant time and cost savings as there is no need for scaffolding and shuttering. The installation happens really fast, the elements are erected directly from the trailer into their final position.

Stairs
One of the biggest advantages of precast concrete stairs is that they can be utilized right after installation, hence giving free access to the workers to move between the floors. The traditional, in situ casting of staircases can block and hinder the movement of construction workers for weeks, that’s why precast concrete stairs are a way better choice when it comes to time and cost efficiency.

Boundary Walls
Our boundary walls come in different sizes, shapes and finishing. These panels are widely used in the region, which provides privacy for villas, offices, factories, farms, etc. The standard walls are designed to a height between 2-4 meters above ground level, and a width of 6 meters each. These dimensions can be custom designed in order to meet the individual project requirements in terms of height, width, thickness, design features or colors.

Panels
Precast concrete panels have been widely used worldwide since the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, the use of these panels have rapidly increased due to the development of more complex architectural designs. Our panels have three categories: cladding panels, solid panels and insulated sandwich panels.
- Cladding panels: non-load bearing architectural elements which only serve a decorative function. The endless combinations of shapes and finishes together contribute to the final appearance and the architectural expression of the particular building.
- Solid panels: they can be used as both interior and exterior purposes. With the use of solid panels, the same advantages can be achieved like the cladding panels, however, these elements can be designed as load bearing panels as well.
- Insulated sandwich panels: can be used as both load bearing and non-bearing panels. Sandwich panels are very common in residential buildings, offices, hotels and industrial buildings, where thermal and sound proofing is priority.
